How does technology shape human perception?

When we talk about “content,” how do media and historical frameworks already shape the way we think? Scientific development has gradually entered the pathways of imagination and belief — almost becoming a kind of magic.

Images help us understand and recognize more things in the world, while simultaneously making us forget the expressive spaces outside the image itself. While consuming content, we forget the existence of the mediator — the thing that quietly guides our dependency and deeply affects us.

When we take photos inside museums, do we still remember the original shock of the moment?
Even the word “documentation” has become strangely easy —
within the vastness of life, we cut out and represent a fragment that may never fully capture the whole.

If recorded memories can be layered so easily,
then what becomes the accumulation at the center of a life?
What becomes blurred behind the depth of field?
How do constantly overlapping and displaced impressions create so many subtle digital emotional spaces, extending into forms of modern collective consciousness?

All of these remain hidden within forgotten perception.

When the most intimate and ordinary fragments are placed into public projection.
When behavior, poetry, sound, and dance appear upon the disciplined urban façade of Hsinchu.
When traces of history become the background of new creation.
