Curious about the culture of the Dragon Boat Festival?

Have you ever experienced the traditional zongzi (rice dumplings) of the Dragon Boat Festival or felt the aroma of mugwort and medicinal herbs? These traditional foods and celebratory activities carry deep historical and cultural meanings. The Dragon Boat Festival is not only a holiday to commemorate Qu Yuan, but also one of the most traditional and vibrant festivals in Chinese and Southeast Asian cultures.

In this upcoming Dragon Boat Festival cultural event, we will explore the origins, customs, and the cultural stories behind the festival. The Dragon Boat Festival is not just about dragon boat races and zongzi; it profoundly reflects the respect for health, family, and ancestors in ancient China, as well as the seasonal celebrations related to agricultural societies. This day is not only filled with fun but also serves as a way to pass on and commemorate ancestral culture.

During the event, we will dive into the traditions and cultural significance of the Dragon Boat Festival, taste alkaline zongzi with different sauces, handcraft fragrant sachets, and enjoy a fun handmade dragon boat race! You'll get to experience the rich atmosphere and cultural depth of the festival through these activities.
